As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence in a dynamic retail environment. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Hold a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Maintain a visible presence and conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may require an armed response.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Assist customers, staff, and/or visitors with security-related questions and directions within the retail environment.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
