As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to various situations as needed. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must possess an armed guard card or license.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate, in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and patients while upholding the policies of the healthcare location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on observations, incidents, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the healthcare location management.
