Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed post at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the banking location, including lobby areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or vendor activity to help support authorized entry procedures and help to deter suspicious or unauthorized behavior.
Support cash-handling and other sensitive operational activities with a visible armed presence, following post orders and reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
