Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Possess baton certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities and detailed reporting.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, data-sensitive areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining observant for unusual activity and potential concerns.
Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site instructions, using sound judgment during elevated situations and when contacting local responders and/or site leadership.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations.
