As an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support store teams and customers through attentive customer service, clear reporting, and teamwork. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment per licensing requirements, post orders, and applicable laws, and use good judgment and clear communication during security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including suspected theft, disorderly behavior, and/or potential robbery situations, and promptly notify site leadership and law enforcement as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, back-of-house areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms, access points, and/or video surveillance when assigned, complete required documentation, and assist with opening and closing procedures and staff escorts as directed by post orders.
