As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter potential incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This armed post requires a valid armed guard card or license. Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter and report suspicious behavior.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate information to supervisors and/or law enforcement as necessary.
- Assist with emergency response protocols, including evacuation or lockdown procedures if required by the site's policies.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while representing Allied Universal.
