Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out armed, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, courtyards, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while documenting observations, incidents, and/or interactions with accuracy.
Support personnel and visitors by giving directions, addressing routine concerns, and communicating with supervisors and/or public agencies when needed.
