As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will observe and report activity, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver strong customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1+ years’ law enforcement experience or 2+ years’ security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years’ security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain readiness and accountability for authorized duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable laws, including completing required checks and documentation.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entry points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in required logs and reports.
