Requirements

• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by offering assistance and information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and the location's procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while carrying out assigned duties as an armed security professional.
