As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have a valid California weapons permit with 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the premises.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed to support incident response.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to clients and employees.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Follow all company protocols and client instructions related to access control, visitor management, and security-related procedures specific to financial institution environments.
