As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. This is an armed and driving post, which means you will be equipped and authorized to carry out your duties as an armed professional and will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol activities. You will interact with customers, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Requirements

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for unusual activity or security-related risks.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other incidents within the retail environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence while patrolling to provide reassurance to employees, customers, and visitors.
