As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help prevent potential issues, and responding promptly to security-related situations as they arise. In this driving and armed position, you will be entrusted with both patrolling duties and the responsibility of carrying a firearm, reflecting the importance of your role in protecting people and property. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing all duties, adapting to changing conditions within the retail environment.
• Uphold Allied Universal’s standards of professionalism and customer service at all times while performing armed patrol duties.
