As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full Coverage in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by local regulations.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Hold a valid handcuffing certification, which may be completed post hire.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor for suspicious or unusual behavior and report findings to the appropriate authorities.
Maintain a professional presence while carrying a firearm as required by the post profile and adhere to all applicable laws and company policies regarding armed security-related duties.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
Interact with employees, visitors, and/or the public to provide assistance and information as needed.
