About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial Center in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with clients and visitors, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, remaining alert to unusual activities or potential threats.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disruptions and reassure employees and visitors.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required during critical events or emergencies.
