Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1+ years of armed security-related and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor activity, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
• Operate within all applicable armed post requirements, including carrying assigned equipment, following use-of-force guidelines, and completing timely, detailed reports and/or incident documentation.
