Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, including sensitive areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or unauthorized access to restricted areas, helping to deter potential threats to the location.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Remain alert to changes in the working environment that may impact security-related responsibilities at the location.
