Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for Texas only.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support loss prevention and assist with access control as required.
Observe and report any unusual activity, suspicious behavior, or policy violations within the retail environment to appropriate management or law enforcement as necessary.
Interact professionally with store employees, visitors, and/or customers, providing guidance or assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Document all incidents and relevant observations in accordance with company and client protocols.
