As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and professional conduct. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with the public and staff, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government site and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and the site policies.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or irregularities to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
