Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This role is ideal for candidates with armed experience who value teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Possess an armed guard card/license.
Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess a corrections officer license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, assisting with entry procedures, visitor interactions, and enforcement of site rules in a professional manner.
Support law enforcement and/or first responders during emergencies, alarms, medical events, or investigations while maintaining a visible armed presence at the location.
