About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle-area patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with clear communication. You will document observations, support badge and visitor processes, and partner with site teams to keep operations moving. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Have an armed guard card/license.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Have a DD214 with honorable discharge OR associates degree/60 college credits OR police academy certificate OR corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions that may help to deter incidents.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel, and documenting visitor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, calls for service, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site representatives and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation accurately and in a timely manner, communicating key information to the next shift and/or site contacts.
