Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires you to be both armed and able to drive, as you conduct routine patrols and maintain a strong, visible presence. Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Complete detailed reports regarding observations, incidents, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical situations or emergencies.
• Operate communication devices and security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert to potential threats and/or suspicious activity within the transportation environment and report findings to appropriate personnel.
