About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Conyers, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will support access control practices, act with integrity, and contribute to a caring, team-driven culture.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Have 5+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with post orders, training, and applicable laws, escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas, building perimeters, and access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related hazards.
• Monitor access control points and surveillance systems as assigned, document routine activity and incidents, and complete clear written reports and notifications per policy.
