As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a highly visible presence, and support access control and badge checks as needed. Requirements

• Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, access control procedures, and other site-specific security-related policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, utilities, and perimeter fencing to help to identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and/or unauthorized entry points, and report findings per site protocol.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site leadership and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, checking deliveries against authorization, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site rules.
• Complete detailed documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries; communicate updates during shift transitions and follow chain-of-command reporting requirements.
