About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and appropriate public sector contacts.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, remaining aware of changing conditions across the location.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
Support order within the location by reporting hazards, policy violations, unusual activity, and/or maintenance concerns, while following post orders and use of force guidelines.
