Join Allied Universal in an armed patrol role at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with supervisors, law enforcement, and/or designated personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or sensitive locations for authorized access, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns.
Support site operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of post orders, and following Allied Universal and client-directed protocols for security-related incidents and daily activities.
