As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or requests for assistance as required by site-specific protocols.
