As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a high-end retail location. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-value areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required during critical situations.
Remain alert to surroundings and potential threats, adapting to changing environments and conditions as needed.
Maintain proper handling and securing of assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
