About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol Driver in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence throughout the property. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and/or suspicious activities.
Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when necessary.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Follow all company protocols and client-specific instructions while carrying out armed patrol duties within the retail setting.
