As a Patrol Armed Officer at this retail location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
Document and report observations, incidents, and any suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
Maintain visible presence as an armed security professional to help to deter potential threats within the retail environment.
