As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol post.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter potential threats and maintain a secure environment.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related observations and/or incidents.
Operate security-related equipment as required by site-specific protocols.
Complete required reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, and any unusual activities encountered during the shift.
