Requirements

Possess a valid New Jersey RPO Certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while upholding security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location, including interior and exterior perimeters, to help to deter potential threats.
Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the premises to help to maintain the integrity of the location.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary based on site-specific requirements.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the government location.
