As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the facility.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information while upholding security-related protocols.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines for armed security professionals, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.
