As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance when appropriate.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
Participate in emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site-specific procedures.
