As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment at a retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter loss prevention issues and/or security-related incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or criminal activity within the location.
Communicate with store staff and/or management regarding security-related concerns or incidents as they arise.
Complete required reports and documentation for all incidents and security-related activities.
Adhere to all company and client policies, including proper handling of firearms in accordance with training and regulations.
