About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Screener in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible and professional presence. This is an armed post. You will interact with visitors and staff, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor entry points and screen individuals entering the location to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by site policies.
Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and law enforcement as needed.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the location to support a secure environment.
