About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a PATROL_ARMED professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the area. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming environment, guided by Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, reporting any unusual activity as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the property to help to deter potential risks and/or incidents.
  • Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set forth by Allied Universal.
