About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a PATROL_ARMED professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the area. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming environment, guided by Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, reporting any unusual activity as required.
Maintain a visible presence on the property to help to deter potential risks and/or incidents.
Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set forth by Allied Universal.
