About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or management.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Operate communication devices and other security-related equipment as required by site protocols.
  • Document security-related incidents and complete reports in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to address incidents at the location.
