About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or management.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Operate communication devices and other security-related equipment as required by site protocols.
Document security-related incidents and complete reports in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to address incidents at the location.
