As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and reassuring presence. You will conduct regular patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or security-related breaches and report findings according to company protocols.
Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials as required.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or in response to incidents.
