Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and/or disruptions within the government location.
Document security-related incidents and complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
