As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service by conducting routine armed patrols at a government location. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Holding an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Holding a current CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government locations and their perimeters, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or violations of site rules to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and any security-related observations while on duty.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel, first responders, and/or law enforcement when necessary to address incidents.
• Carry and operate assigned firearms, adhering strictly to all applicable policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Remain alert and attentive to potential security-related risks in the environment, adapting to changing situations as needed.
