About The Position

As a Security Officer - Community Patrol Driver in Jupiter, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed, driving Security Officer supporting an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents across assigned areas. You will respond to concerns with calm, clear communication, document observations, and deliver welcoming customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access points by verifying identification and/or credentials, assisting with visitor processing, and helping to enforce authorized entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance and documenting actions taken per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate significant observations to site contacts, and assist with security-related inquiries and/or requests.
