As a Security Officer - Armed Government Center Patrol - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, remaining alert to potential security-related concerns.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity or access through a visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related issues or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols for armed patrol posts in government settings.
Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
