As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors, employees, and guests. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a professional presence while monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents as they arise. Your primary responsibility will be to remain stationed at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone entering or exiting the premises. Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Must provide one of the following: a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or clients at the front desk, providing customer service in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required by site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, clients, and/or visitors to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, following Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
