Requirements

A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with customer service is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors and/or employees in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk within a transportation facility.
Monitor access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of visitor logs, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and/or emergency responders as necessary.
Follow security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service and support daily operations.
Assist in implementing emergency response activities when appropriate, according to established guidelines.
