As a Security Officer - Armed Foot Patrol in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will control access, verify badges and support site procedures while partnering with the team. Bring your Armed Guard Card and a people-first mindset as we act with integrity and deliver through teamwork.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support orderly operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including conducting preliminary investigations and coordinating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for unusual conditions and/or policy violations.
• Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol activity, and shift handoff information, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site personnel.
