Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism during public interactions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site protocols and post orders.
Perform assigned armed post duties, including maintaining readiness with authorized equipment and reporting incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.
