Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will conduct routine armed patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document activity, support site operations, and deliver a customer-focused presence while working as part of a team that values integrity. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card and/or license.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Carry out armed post duties in accordance with site requirements and applicable laws, including maintaining assigned equipment, controlling access points, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or criminal activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas such as warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter fencing; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate noteworthy information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
