As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, professional communication. You will complete routine rounds, support access control as needed, and deliver a strong customer service experience while representing a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, innovative approach.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures, including access control and credential verification.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable licensing requirements, and post orders, and respond to elevated situations when requested.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with emergency services when needed, and completing security-related reports.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, investigate irregular conditions, and assist with crowd control and/or traffic direction as required by the location.
