Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Foot Patrol in Henderson, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will control access, verify badges and support site procedures while partnering with the team. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support orderly operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including conducting preliminary investigations and coordinating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for unusual conditions and/or policy violations.
• Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol activity, and shift handoff information, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site personnel.
